Word Up!

Word Up! God’s Wonderful Words of Life is this year’s Vacation Bible
School theme. The event will be held June 20-June 24. Summer Suppers
will be provided at 5:30 p.m. with Learning Activities offered from
6:00-8:15 p.m. Our daily highlights include:

Monday: All Fed-Up: God Feeds His People in the Wilderness
Tuesday: All Washed-Up: God Cures Naaman in the Jordan River
Wednesday: All Tied-Up: God Saves Three Young Men in the Fiery Furnace
Thursday: All Messed-Up: God Converts Saul on the Road to Damascus
Friday: All Fired-Up: God Blesses Us Everywhere (Potluck Dinner &
VBS Program)

Last year, we had close to 60 children from our congregation and neighborhood
attending our summer program. We offer learning activities for children three years
old through completion of Grade 5. We receive comments from parents and children
that ours is the best VBS in the area. This is largely due to fine, dedicated and
caring volunteers to do their best to make our VBS such a great success.

Volunteers are needed again this year in all VBS ministry opportunities. Teachers
and teaching assistants, kitchen crew, crafters and recreational leaders and helpers
are needed to have another great year reaching our children in Jesus’ name. A sign
-up sheet is posted in the narthex or you may call Pastor Rice for more information.
